This tutorial will help new users understand how to use PDF to Excel Converter to convert PDF file into Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet.
To use this app, please follow the steps below:
Step 1. Run the app after you have installed this PDF to Excel Converter to the Mac computer. When you see a screen as follows, add PDF files to the app. You are allowed to import multiple PDF files at one time.
Step 2. Click “Browse” in the lower right corner of the interface, then a window will slide down, click "Choose" to select an output folder to store the converted Excel files.
Step 3. Then click "Convert" in the lower right corner of the interface to convert PDF files to Excel on Mac computer. When the progress bar comes to the end, you can click the xlsx icon in the file list to open the Excel file.
NOTE:
1. You may click “Keep Format Style” under Options to choose keeping the original format style or only the plain text.
2. You may select All Pages if you want to convert all pages of the files. If you just need to convert some pages of the file, choose Custom and input a single page number or a page range in the box, such as 1,5,3-12 (no space between numbers, use comma to separate numbers), the page will be customised.
3. The lite version (also called free trial version) only allows you to convert two pages of a PDF file. If you want to convert all pages, please upgrade it to the full version if you like the app.
4. After you click Convert button in green background color, it will change into Cancel in red. If you want to cancel converting, click Cancel immediately to terminate it.
5. PDF file and Microsoft Excel are totally different document formats, for better conversion quality, please ensure that your PDF files contain tabular data. Pictures and paragraph layouts will not be preserved after conversion.
