How to print to PDF from Adobe Acrobat XI on Macintosh

I want to print to PDF from Adobe Acrobat XI on Macintosh, In order to reverse print to a new PDF.

User Problems and Suggestions


I purchased and installed PDF Printer. I open a PDF in Acrobat XI on my Mac and go to Print, PDF Printer does not appear in the list of printers.
The PDF Printer icon is in the Menu Bar icons at the top of the screen, PDF Printer isn’t going to do what I need it to do – print to PDF from Adobe Acrobat XI on Macintosh.
I wanted to be able to reverse print to a new PDF.

How to print to PDF from Adobe Acrobat XI on Macintosh

To print from Adobe Acrobat, it take some steps, please follow my guide to print again, firstly you need open PDF Printer app, then


1. 1. Open “System Preferences” => Select “Printers & Scanners”, then Add “PDF Printer” by click “+”. like this:





2. Go to Adobe Acrobat, open you pdf document, markup it. Then select “Print”, choose "PDF Printer" to print again.




3. At last, PDF Printer will re-save your PDF as an new printable flattened copy, comments and forms will no lognger be editable, but will be viewalbe in most devcies, apps, like iPhone on Mail app.



Then you could try to setup and print to PDF Printer app again.
